The Albert Park Circuit unfortunately does not offer good parking options.
There is no public parking available around the circuit. We do not recommend you park just near the circuit. Unauthorised parking may result in a fine (the police are very strict in that regard).
If you are driving to the circuit (be prepared for traffic delays!), we recommend parking at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), for example.
The MCEC has a pay and display car park (costs about A$20), and as it is about a 3 km walk from the circuit, it is possible to continue to the circuit on foot after parking. You can also use Uber or public transport (tram number 96) to get to and from the site.
You can also park at one of the tram 96 stops and then continue on the tram, which is free during the F1 weekend (if you are an F1 ticket holder).
